Established in 1929.
Serving the traditional taste of IPPEI.

In 1929, the Japanese restaurant “IPPEI-SO” was opened in Kagurazaka, Tokyo.
In 1940, the restaurant was featured in the book “100 Famous Restaurants in Tokyo,”
written by the famous food critic, Tetsunosuke Tada.
IPPEI-SO has been loved for a long time
and its traditional taste has been passed down to the present.

Transforming from a traditional
Japanese restaurant to an oden restaurant.

In October 1970,
we opened our oden restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo,
expecting more people to come and enjoy our dishes.
The restaurant’s blend of Kansai-style oden and traditional IPPEI-SO cuisine
was popular among people of Tokyo and other’s parts of Japan.
